The good outweighs the bad (barely)
The owners are genuinely warm and friendly that makes you feel at home. There’s also a lovely honesty bar, perfect for enjoying a drink after a long day.
The hotel suffers from outdated décor and visible wear and tear throughout the building, which could definitely hinder the overall experience. noise from other guests can disrupt the peace and quiet many seek.

The room was lovely and warm, with an incredibly comfortable bed and pillows. The decor added a nice touch, and I really appreciated the handy DVD player. The only downside was that the cleaning could have been better. I noticed that the cups weren't changed during our stay, which felt a bit off. not bad for a cozy getaway!

Delicious freshly cooked breakfasts that fueled our adventures.
During our stay, we found the indoor games room lacking in variety, with only a few worn-out options that disappointed our children. while the honesty bar was a nice touch, it could have included a wider selection of snacks. We were also let down by the limited communal space, as it felt cramped at times and not conducive for larger families to relax.

The view from the family sea view room was breathtaking, and the room itself was clean, providing a comfortable stay. Breakfast featured delicious crisp salads, though more variety would elevate the experience. Unfortunately, the dated decor and some maintenance issues, like the moldy wardrobe and old bathroom fixtures, detracted from the overall ambiance. The games room needs to be updated as well, with worn furniture and limited options for children, impacting their enjoyment during our visit.
